Asahi to take part in ProFlex 2022
Flexographic photopolymer plate development company, Asahi Photoproducts, will be present at the upcoming ProFlex conference in Stuttgard, Germany.

Asahi will be showing its AWP-DEW CleanPrint flexographic plates at the ProFlex 2022 conference
Hosted by the DFTA Flexographic Printing Association, the event will take place from September 14th - 15th in Stuttgart Media University. Visitors will be able to experience informative keynotes and panel discussions on key issues and trends.
A tabletop exhibition will also be present as well as two live workshops featuring live demos and the DFTA Award 2022 exhibition.
Sustainability will be a key focus for Asahi at the event with the company showcasing its AWP-DEW CleanPrint flexographic plates.
The ClearnPrint water-washable flexographic plates are processed without VOC-based washout solvents and use less energy in the production process than VOC solvent-based plates. This water-wash technology also features a low surface energy plate which results in less press stops for plate cleaning, reducing press waste.
According to Asahi, these features makes them the most sustainable flexographic plates in the industry.
The company will also be introducing its newest international sales manager Daniel Illmer who oversees Eastern Europe and DACH.
Illmer says: “We are looking forward to attending ProFlex 2022 and speaking with attendees about the importance of sustainability in the industry. We will also offer a white paper that discusses Carbon Neutrality.”
