The DBM-700 can produce square spine booklets and booklets of up to 60 sheets
Duplo International’s newest booklet system, the DBM-700, has high-speed square spine capability for up to 60 sheet/240ppm booklets.
Expanding bookletmaking capabilities and optimising productivity, the new DBM-700 combines automation and flexibility. This is ideal for modern printing companies which are increasingly diversifying and have more varied needs.
Designed to accommodate print outputs from multiple presses, the DMB-700 streamlines workflow and reduces production time and manual touchpoints.
Duplo describes one of the standout features of the new machine as its “remarkable adaptability” with the bookletmaker able to handle a range of print jobs. This includes the ability to produce square spine booklets, introducing the look and feel of a perfect bound booklet but produced at speed.
An example of this is the ability for A5 square spine finished booklets to be produced at up to 2000 per hour depending on the feeder’s capabilities.
The DBM-700 also has an expanded capacity to handle thicker books of up to 60 sheets which enables users to produce a wider range of products.
