In a new white paper entitled ‘Labelling for the shifting manufacturing landscape’, Loftware said more manufacturing is moving away from China and closer to where the product is actually being sold.
Loftware also notes that the pressure is on manufacturers to operate more efficiently; keep costs down and quality up, as well as improve their ability to respond quickly to customer requirements, which could in turn impact label choice.
“It’s now more vital than ever for organisations to think differently about processes, operations, and supply chains,” Loftware says.
