Express Image specialises in delivering outdoor durable, UV resistant decals, labels and signs and says the HP installations will support its growth plans, help the business reach new markets and shift current UV inkjet output to latex technology.
Jeff Sarenpa, owner of Express Image, says the company selected the HP Latex R2000 for its ability to print on flexible and rigid materials.
“We chose to invest in three HP Latex R2000 presses because of the superior print resolution, improved colour gamut, superior white ink results, and other significant HP Latex Technology advantages”, Sarenpa explains.
“These three presses will allow us to transition some existing legacy print to superior latex output. We looked at various UV inkjet alternatives over the last couple of years, but while the quality and speed are certainly good, the outdoor lightfastness, flexibility, adhesion, and elongation is simply better with HP Latex.”
