The price rise, Sappi Europe says, is in response to the continuing high cost and volatility in raw materials, energy, and transportation, with the increase to apply to all customers in Europe.
This increase will be in addition to previously announced price rises from Sappi Europe.
“The cost outlook remains uncertain, and Sappi will continue to adjust pricing if costs escalate further,” Sappi Europe says.
“Sappi’s European sales team will be in further contact directly with customers to discuss the details of the implementation.”
