EFI heats up digital print with Fiery FS500 Pro

EFI has announced the launch of the new EFI Fiery FS500 Pro platform, a digital front end (DFE) server solution for the digital printing sector.

The Fiery DFE platform can be used with digital printers in the office, commercial, in-plant, packaging and textile printing.

The Fiery FS500 Pro platform features five new innovations, EFI explains, including faster job processing compared to older solutions, faster turnaround time for short runs, availability of the Fiery JobExpert tool, more accurate brand colours and the ability to produces less print waste when using the product.

John Henze, vice president of sales and marketing at EFI Fiery, says: “As the industry begins a recovery from the recent downturn, print businesses across all segments are looking to invest in solutions that enhance their productivity, reduce waste and shorten cycle times.

"That’s exactly what this brand-new Fiery platform brings, with advancements that take print businesses to new levels of production efficiency, color accuracy, and profit potential.
