J&G Environmental says demand for environmentally friendly printed work has increased
J&G Environmental made the call during the week of Global Recycling Day 2021, which took place on March 18th and focused on how recycling should be recognised as an essential service due to the role it has played in protecting the planet during the pandemic.
Having remained active throughout the Covid-19 crisis, J&G Environmental says the demand for green-minded print is strong, customers becoming increasingly conscious of this factor.
J&G Environmental’s general manager, John Haines, comments: “Last year was not easy for anyone, but something that remained clear to us was the desire among printers to remain committed to their environmental goals and to maintain their green plans.
“Recycling is now a critical part of any print business; if you cannot demonstrate to your customers that you are not committed to recycling and other green initiatives, then there is a good chance they will go somewhere that is more conscious about the planet.”
Haines adds: “As the world recovers from Covid-19, there is no better time to explore the options available to you in terms of recycling and becoming a much greener operation,” Haines said.
“There has been a great deal of change in the industry, and indeed the world, over the past 12 months, but one key factor has remained very much the same – the need for all businesses to be as environmentally friendly as possible.”
