The Visual Print and Design team raised £370
Graham Hunstone, Scott Jones, Charlie Hartley, Sarah Lawrence, Rachael Hunt and Chloe Cockett together walked a total of 1,344,032 steps during March.
The team had hoped to raise £300 for the charity, but surpassed this total and handed over £370 to Marie Curie.
Money was raised in memory of Graham’s father Charles Hunstone, who sadly passed away in January 2021.
“We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who donated and helped us raise £370 for Marie Curie through our one million step challenge,” says Rachael Hunt, creative marketing manager at Visual Print and Design.
“The charity means a lot to the Visual Print and Design team and we hope this money can go towards helping to continue to provide vital care to people with terminal illnesses.”
Lauren Alexander, community fundraiser for Lincolnshire for Marie Curie, adds:
“What an incredibly tough challenge and the team at Visual Print and Design took it all in their stride.
“Thank you so much to each and every person for their kind donation and of course, to the team for their efforts. They can rest in the knowledge they have helped another Lincolnshire family receive 18.5 hours of care.”
