A panel will pick winners from a shortlist of 10 entrants
Running in collaboration with Brief Cases, the Smart Luxury Packaging – Cosmetics Brief contest features students from Norwich University of the Arts.
A total of 10 submissions from students have been shortlisted for the competition, which requires entrants to respond to the challenges of the pandemic by addressing the realities of the closure of retail stores.
This focused around designing packaging for a fictitious high-end start-up company, with the idea of enhancing the unboxing experience for the consumer taking delivery of cosmetic packaged goods at home rather than in store.
A panel will pick the best designs on July 15th, while the winners will have the opportunity to have their work shown on the Antalis stand at Packaging Innovations in September.
Steve Chappell, graphical board development manager at Antalis, comments: “It is an honour to work with the students from Norwich University of the Arts to develop and nurture their talent.
“The quality of the work they have produced is excellent, and I am looking forward to judging the entries alongside leading industry figures.”
