Sappi Europe confirms energy surcharge
Sappi Europe announced an energy surcharge across all products after revealing it can no longer absorb the full extent of what it described as an “unprecedented increase” in energy prices.

The surcharge will apply to all of Sappi’s products
All invoices dated from October 25th will include a surcharge of €100 (£86), with this to remain in place until further notice.
Sappi added that this surcharge will be in addition to any current and future price increases.
“Sappi understands that circumstances are extremely challenging and remain committed to managing its business, supporting the industry and serving customers during this difficult period,” Sappi says.
