Siepmann will lead the development and delivery of ACTEGA's sustainability and ESG initiatives, with a particular focus on circular economy, sustainable solutions, and the objective to become climate neutral by 2025.

He will also be responsible for driving ACTEGA’s sustainability efforts and their integration across its technologies and operations of the company.

Siepmann has been with ACTEGA for more than a decade, having started out as business development manager at the ACTEGA site in Bremen, Germany. He was most recently the global segment head for speciality consumer goods.

“I am honoured to be taking on this role at such an exciting time for ACTEGA and very much looking forward to working with our teams around the world to find new ways to reduce our environmental impact as well as to make a positive contribution to the areas in which we operate,” Siepmann says.

“Sustainability is a key priority for our company and a topic I'm incredibly passionate about.

“My previous roles have given me a broad understanding of sustainability, and I am keen to bring in my experience to address sustainable development topics within our company and within the packaging industry.”
