The UK Graphic Awards is returning for its third year after two successful events in 2021 and 2022

The UK Graphic Awards has ramped up anticipation for its third ceremony by announcing the opening of entries for this year’s awards.

As one of the key industry award ceremonies to occur when the pandemic eased in 2021, the event has become a key date in the calendar for companies in the wide-format and display sectors.

The event will take place in October in Birmingham and is free and open to all wide-format print businesses in the UK. Eligible projects need to have been completed between May 1st, 2022, and April 30th, 2023.

Nastia Bodanruk, one of the organisers of event, says: “We’re so excited to bring the industry together again and celebrate their best work. The competition was fierce in 2022 and we’re expecting it to be even more so this year!”

The awards are judged by an international jury of experienced professionals who are unbiased in their decisions.

Award categories include Branded Interiors, Construction, Exhibitions, Live Events, Retail: In-store, Retail: Windows, as well as company awards and the Rising Star Award for talented under 30s.

Paul Fitch, head of inkjet, at event sponsor AGFA UK & Ireland, comments: “Wide-format companies are producing some of the most innovative and creative work in the print industry and deserve the recognition that these awards bring. Agfa's continued commitment to the UK Graphic Awards shows our support for this market and the importance of an event like this.”

The closing date for entries is Friday June 9th, by which point more information will be released regarding the ceremony on October 4th, 2023.
